Dr. K, also known as Hirofumi Tokutake, has passed away
Tokutake Hirofumi passed away on May 14th, 2025 (aged 74). Tokutake was very helpful to our company. He gave us advice on everything from website advertising to demo performances at exhibitions. At one point, Tokutake taught me how to play the electric guitar. I fondly remember him teaching very gently, and always smiling no matter how many times I made a mistake.
Now, my band always plays Tokutake’s famous arrangement, “Suzukake no Michi.” We would like to
express our deepest condolences and pray for his soul to rest in peace.
